How Do I Add A 'Page' To The Site?
A page is a basic type of 'node' or content posting. Add one following these steps:
- Click the 'create content' link on the left menu.
- Click on the 'page' link in the list of content elements.
- In the edit template, write in a Title and choose one or more categories in the content type scroll box(es).
- Add your content in the Body content box. Formatting and other basic HTML tools appear at the bottom of the content box.
- If you want to add additional HTML formatting, you can click on the disable rich-text link below the content box.
- When you are done with the content, select options in the group and publishing fields, As well as selecting the appropriate categories.
- Click on the Submit button to save your content.

How Do I Add a FAQ?
Click the create content option located on the left menu and click the FAQ option. Enter your question in the Question block. Add your answer in the Answer block.
If you don't have an answer, but would like to have your question answered, add a question mark (?) in the Answer box.
Remember to choose a Category in the Content Types box above the Question block.

How Do I Add Content To This Site?
First you must login to the site. If you don't have a username, you may use the 'Login/Register' link on the upper right. Once you're logged in, click the 'create content' option located on the upper left. Depending on your permissions (each user has a blog) you may see the following content type choices:
- biblio - a bibliographic entry to the database
- blog entry - regularly updates to a journal or diary
- FAQ - frequently asked questions pertaining to a particular topic
- book page - a collaborative writing effort--formated as pages of the book
- forumi topic - new topics for discussion in a forums
- page - a page of static information to present content
- poll - introduce a multiple-choice question which visitors can vote on
- story - stories may be used as a way to get attention for news articles and other topics of interest

How Do I Add Graphics in my Content?
Please follow these steps:
- Click the create content link on the left menu.
- Click on a link (e.g., page) in the list of content elements.
- In the edit template, write in a Title and choose one or more categories in the content type scroll box(es).
- Add your content in the Body content box. Click on the disable rich-text link below the content box.
- An add images icon will appear.
add images icon - Assuming that you will have to upload your image, click on the add image icon (shown above), add a title, use the Browse button to locate your image file on your computer, and click the Submit button to upload the image file. Next, click on the Insert button, to insert the graphic in your content.
- If you have already loaded your image, when you click the add image icon, a library of icons should appear. You can click on your image then click on the Insert button, to insert the graphic in your content.
- Image coding will appear in the content box.
- Click on the Submit button to save your content.

How Do I Find Specific Content on This Site?
Use the Search Box on the top menu on the right to search all the content on the eSATSi Communityi Portal.

How Do I Get Started Using This Site?
Getting involved in this site takes several steps. If you're just browsing the site there's no need to do anything special. You can type a term into the search box at the top right to quickly find what you want. Most people start by browsing the site.
At the top of each page there's a menu that will take you to common areas of interest to all eSATSi members.
On the left side of the browser window you will see a navigation menu. Follow the links that interest you. To see an overview of all eSATS content, follow the 'communities' link. All materials have been organized and selected to fit into one of eight communities. If you click on the faq tab on the top, you can also find more information to help you get started. more
